Bought a 2024 1500 Hemi e-torque. Hope it holds up Hemis are pretty much gone, this was one of 2 with in 40 miles and I'm in the big city SoCal. I think Stelantis has made a bad decision.

Nice truck. I bought a 23 Hemi about a year ago. Its got a ton of gadgetry I’m still figuring out at times, but so far all is good.

Bad move eliminating the Hemi. A friend just rented a 2025 with the hurricane V6. He was really impressed at first, good power, great gas mileage 20+ until he towed a old pick up he bought up in Las Vegas. 20+ mpg on the way up, got 6 mpg with the load. Turbos were spooling up under the load and gas mileage went to pot.

I hope the E-torque doesn't give you any problems...

nice truck, hemi powered
black will be a workout keeping it clean

Me too. At least the e torque has been around for awhile now.
Black, white whatever. It goes to the car wash 2-3 times a week

I could have done without the e-torque but it became standard on the Hemi in 2023.

Glad I bought a non e torque 2022 very happy with it ,had a 21 e torque not impressed I just wish they would have offered a 392 in the 1/2 ton trucks had a 2500 with a 6.4 great power good on fuel ⛽ for what it was

I have a 2012 1500. 5.7 hemi
Just turned 150k Miles.

I will be tearing it down next few weeks for cam and lifters.

Not to be the bearer of bad news.
But......

I'm told...
On these mds motors.
It's not a matter of IF it needs cam/lifters.

More like when.

I'm gonna do mds delete.
Parts alone will be close to $2000

I'm dealing with some health issues right now. But that job is waiting for me...staring me in the face when I go into the garage.

Good luck with that & I hope your health gets better,
:drinks: & here's to a full & speedy recovery...

Great looking truck. I'm sure you are enjoying it.

I bought a granite 21 Hemi 4x4 that now has 14,800 miles on it. I added some takeoff blackout 20's. It took about a month to get used to the trans selector switch, but I'm over it now. I hope to nurse it along for 20 years.
