My first Mopar

I just talked to the guy who posted the car. It belongs to an older gentleman (88 yo) who's selling off his cars. It was originally a slant 6 factory 4 spd car. He put a 413 in it and added aftermarket fuel injection to it. Otherwise, it's mostly original.

What kinda price? just curious...

Off the cuff I would say high, $10k to $13k car. If it was a 2 door $18 to $25K
Sold a 62 440 Maxie clone with a blown auto transmission for $25k 4 years ago for a quick sale.
Lady wanted it gone when her brother passed. Never got around to fixing it.
Keep us informed.I would like to see how this plays out.

Rear 1/4 chrome trim is '62 Polara 500 piece that someone has added.

Fuel injection late fifties letter cars did not last long.
4 spd. 62 B Body RB 413 I Do not think it was available.
Could be an interesting car but not factory.

I talked with the owner last night and I am going to look at it this weekend. He said the FI is an aftermarket deal but couldn't remember the name or brand. It has an electric as well as a mechanical fuel pump. An A833 4spd with Hurst shifter, HEI ignition, 3:55 8.75" rear end. Quite a bit is apparently new such as the interior, tires, etc. All that and it's still a manual drum brake and steering...

Neither of those things would bother me a bit, I actually prefer manual steering and brakes on these old cars. Swap in a PST 20:1 box and get a front manual disc brake setup from Dr. Diff and you will be good to go.

I will keep those in mind. Thank you.
