On the E bodies any 70-74 K frame will work. They all retain the biscuit style mounts althought ther are visual differences between 70, 71, and 72-4. I think any 71-72 B K frame will work. I don;t know about the 73-74 B. Those I think were different. Depending on his budget and what he runs now for times he might just go with a replacement rack/tubular K frame.
