I recently picked up this 63 Polara. I’ve owned a bunch of old mopars, but the 62-65 b bodies are some of my favorites. The 63s are my absolute favorite, so I’m really excited to have this one! This one has been off the road since 1975/76. 318 poly with 727. Pretty scarce on options, only power steering and heater.
This car is incredibly solid for sitting in South Dakota for so long, if you live up in the northern Midwest, you know how rough old cars can get. The interior somehow survived almost perfectly because it had clear vinyl covers all those years.
Bad news- the poly is junk, thought it was stuck from sitting but after not getting it to break loose I pulled heads and found no rust. I believe it spun a bearing and got parked. I intend to do a 5.9 magnum swap.
Also can we appreciate the SoDak suntan on this thing? PS: don’t mind the cut up dodge in the background it’s a long story..
