My new to me 64 Polara

Very nice :) I need to get my Mason's emblem back on my car.. one of the mounting posts is broke. It was at the dealer where the ramchargers started building cars at the time they were there. (from what i read)
I love those old dealer emblems. Most were pot meral and pitted bad. Drill and tap for a machine screw?

You gonna get a "Gas, Grass or ***" sticker also? :)

wow that came out amazing
That was on the Iverson Automotive site I had mentioned earlier. You could smooth the old one out and sand cast it in aluminum. They can be flat on the back so that is easy to mold. It would take a few tries because of the small details.

yeah, we used to do sand casting in middle school :) was a lot of fun

I found a N.O.S. one for my '64 Polara from a fellow I knew that worked in parts department back in the day. He had it in his tool box and it had never been on a car. I reattached it to the original holes drilled in the trunk lid. McManus Motors in nearby London, Ontario. One of the largest Dodge/Chrysler dealers in the area at the time. No longer in business.
