My new to me 64 Polara

Mine had a crack right in front of me, had to me fixed!
I need to check my battery to make sure it has push in caps.
My Napa battery did. They were under the stickers
Mine has 2 triple caps. I bet they are press in's like my Dart. I just wanted to make sure before I order the sticker and caps. Did you use the kit I posted above from Weskcar? Did you get the style I posted?

Well you know, checking, savings, cd's etc. I kept money in savings waiting for a car to surface and got tired of not making any money on interest. (only 5% but better than nothing) Well, I put it in a CD and all of a sudden a car comes up. I had to borrow money to buy it. WTF!.. LOL

Many years ago I went to an ATM to get some cash for car parts. IIRC, it was something like 300 or so and the dang ATM gave it to me in all 5's! Used to always have some cash on hand but stopped having so much laying around until that happened. The machine wasn't exactly fast either and ended up having a line form behind me. This was before the drive up ATM's. Screw that mess. Had enough cash on hand to buy my Dart last summer but went to the bank to get it anyways.
I still keep mine in my shoe! ( well to be honest I have enough for both of them
)

Used to keep 'loose' cash hidden in the blinds.....uh, the upper part that opened up to take the blinds down. These days I have a safe that's hidden and think it's hidden pretty good. It's in the xxxx xxxxx xx xxxxxxx xxxxxxxI still keep mine in my shoe! ( well to be honest I have enough for both of them

I have a $$$ windfall coming shortly from the company I used to work for. I am going to use part of it to pay down my Grand Cherokee. The interest I am charged on my line of credit is more than I could hope to get in a savings account. It seems like the day after I took out the loan to buy the Jeep, the Bank of Canada started hiking the lending rates up.
I borrowed against my small CD. 2% more than the return rate and almost 3% less than the used car rate I could get. As soon as I sell my 66 Dart, I will pay off the Polara. It won't cost much at all. Damn, I need to get busy with an ad and get it sold. It's a fun car and I hope it doesn't take long.

Hey I saw the tail end of a 64 Polara on the Beverly Hillbillies last night. The credits at the end said the show aired in 1963 tho. Must have been late in 63.
Love those shows sponsored by Chrysler Corp. Always new models pulling up in front of the mansion. I have seen Darts to Imperials.

E Bay: Trunk latch emblem
Halifaxhops: Ignition ECU, Pick up, and ignition manuals.

Fix up what doesn't work (back windows don't roll down) and the wipers don't work. With Hoppy's ign. parts I hope I can get it starting and running well. It needs a wheel balance and an alignment and I will be ready to cruise. (to MITP the first of June) I will be looking for a nice right headlight surround trim. They do repop them and I may pull the trigger on those.
