It's that time again. Amazing I'm still here to do it, so since it seems to still be working, here goes:

2025?
Me?
Who'd a thunk it...
Certainly not any in my medical care circles.
My prayer, to all of you in the coming year...

May your pain be a little less,
Your mind be a little more at peace,
The bad news to come be a little less severe,
The good news to come be magnified!
May the world be a little less angry - and a little more sane.
And finally...
May all of us find the wisdom to cut each other a little more slack, because...
Everyone is going through some shiyat that the rest of us don't know about.

Of this I pray for everyone here at FBBO - and for the good souls of the planet in general, too.
- Ed, Lisa (and Fred!)

Bonus: A long-lost little snippet of when Fred first arrived here on the ridge (and before my health went all to hell),
for your amusement:

Thanks moparedtn. Hope you have great New Year. You are very correct with your statement below.

Everyone is going through some shiyat that the rest of us don't know about.

Thanks Ed,may the Lord Bless you and the family. And Yes I need to give a little more slack to family. Thank you for pointing that out my brother. Dave

Happy New Year Ed.

Happy New Year, Ed! Your words always brighten my day. God bless you, Lisa and Fred and all my other brothers and sisters on FBBO.

The world needs more people like you, Ed! Thanks for posting some words to live by.
Eh, I'm just another aging old fool who figured a couple things out finally and got over myself.
Trying to live by those words on a daily basis just like anyone else, too.

But you know what? Sun rises in the east and sets in the west whether any of us are along for the
ride or not - the acknowledgement of which led me to my favorite double-negative saying of
"I ain't nobody". :)

Not everybody ain't nobody!
Irish Toast
May the road rise up to meet you
May the wind be at your back
May the sun shine warm upon your face
And may you be in heaven a half an hour before the devil knows your gone!

Thanks Ed, and Best Wishes for Health, Prosperity, and Stability, in the Coming Year(s), and also to ALL the Site Members, and Families !!!
