I think you'll be fine. You don't have the oil filter to worry about, since it's on the passenger's side on the Hemi. Charles just did a swap from a 403 Olds in his 29 to 392 and the steering box is in a similar location to yours. His worked out fine. In fact, it just fell in like it was made for it. I don't have any pics yet of it with the Hemi, but here it is before the swap still with the 403.

GOT my mirror today and threw it together , the for GT flip top gas cap now a Rat Rod door mirror

Got the GT gas cap mirror mounted on the car , and i started working on my Keg style over flow tank , it will be mounted on the
front and look like an old style moon fuel tank , I mounted a charger flip top gas cap on the side .

well home depot for you LOL i'm still under 50.00 for the tank and all the stuff on it and to mount it , real keg and moon tanks sell for 300-700 bucks so
i think i pulled this off great on a rat rod budget

Are those used valves? Every single early Hemi guy I talked to about mine before I jumped in said that was one of the biggest no no's. They all said get new valves. Mine looked great, but I had them magnafluxed and they ALL had hairline cracks in them.

rusty heads and valves were milled , ground , magna fluxed and flow tested . All good
