Yeah yeah, we’re all Mopar guys... but what’s the top off brand muscle car you’ll stop and admire at a show? Or whatever kind of car...

Always liked the Mercury Cyclone

And the big body Cutlasses. I’ll spend plenty of time chatting up the owner of a 66

Friends dad has one of these growing up. 67 Grand Prix. We called it the Black Beast. Big block car, (pretty sure a 400). Cam, intake and head work - that baby moved.

Off brand.... 1972-75 Ford Fairmont Coupe - 302
My father had one when we were kids....traded down to a 4-cyl Ford Escort as the impending gas crisi was starting to bite in '76. Regretted that move for years to come.

Ford sucks for the most part. Their styling, the strange engines and firing orders, etc.
I did like the 69 Mustang fastback, the 70 Torino and the 66 Fairlane. I also liked the MAVERICK even though it wasn't "muscle".
GM: I LOVE the 70-81 Camaro and Firebird line. I have owned 10 of them.
I used to like Chevelles but once I saw a 69 Charger, I never cared for the Gm A body line much anymore. Never cared much for the Nova or the GM cousins, the 84-88 Monte Carlo was a good looking car EXCEPT for the hideous "AeroCoupe".

Always figured you’d be need to be a florist to appreciate the Aero Coupe.

1st 1968 Charger R/T,
2nd tied; 1968 Road Runner or 1968 GTX

-----------------------------------------------
for 'OFF' brand X's
3rd tied; 1970 Buick GSX St-1 or 1967 Chevelle 396-SS
4th tied; 1965 Olds 442, 1965 GTO
5th tied; 67 Firebird 400, 1968 Camaro RS/SS 396
honorable mention 'the beautiful' 1965 Buick GS Riviera
(albeit; the last not really considered a "muscle car" per say)

I liked a lot of mid sized Olds, Buicks, Pontiacs
& a few select Chevy's too, a few AMCs especially Jeeps
Fords & a select few Mercurys would be my last choices
But; I've owned them all...

Just had to be a 2dr & a HT preferably

any of them from 1955 (tech. 1964)-1970 (some even 71-72)
had a great line, one car or other

I always liked the 68 AMX too

but;
If I had all the $$$ in the world, millions to spend
a 1964 Daytona Cobra Coupe or a 1966 GT40 or a 1966 AC-SC 427 Cobra
would be extremely high on the list
