1967 GTO

I was a punk-*** kid, March 1967, cruising shotgun night time with a buddy in small town Iowa, USA. On Main Street was parked a HOT 1966 Chevelle SS 396 talking to a jaw-dropping, new 1967 GTO, shiney red, spoked mags, jacked-up (raised) front end exposing un-corked fenderwell headers. My buddy and I watched these 2 cars pair off in the country for money and the GTO kicked the Chevelle's ***. We later learned the GTO had a 4-speed, 4:11 posi, Marsh cheater slicks with a special, factory installed 428 V8.

My buddy is putting together a decent little pro touring chevelle. Don’t care for the big *** wheels but it’s got a 1000hp pro charged LSX which is pretty cool

Just picked this up for the little women. She wants to learn how to drive stick, so I thought this would be a fun car for her to learn in.

Since 1994 I have only owned one car that wasn't a Mopar. That is considered to be a red headed step child of Mopar, a 69 390 4 speed AMX. Recently as most people here already know, I bought a second non Mopar, a 72 Corvette 454. A C3 Corvette has always been a bucket list car for me. Chevies have always been my go to second choice for muscle cars. We had a lot of Z28 cars back in the eighties.
