Any body got one they may want to get rid of? When I got the car someone partially cross threaded the steering wheel nut. I took the wheel off today to index it to the front wheels and finished ruining the threads. Maybe there is a fix for this I dont know about. I did try to fix the threads with a stick style thread chaser. Not very good luck. Anyone know what size the threads are?

Dont know if would fit or not, sure seems like it ought to.

The column is just not colapsable. I don't think I have the nut though. I'll have to look for it if you're interested. It's blue by the way. Pm me if you are.

You dont need the whole column, you just need the shaft . Which is easier to get anyhow, as it is the same for a column shift car.
and no the 66 will require a complet change over, and is very different than a 67.

I just dont know if it will fit. I looked at a 66 Coronet today with column shift and it is different.

66 column will not bolt into a 67 car...completely different columns...it won't work

Thinking a little out of the box here..... How often do you plan to have the steering wheel off? Why not just drive it back on (using a hammer for example instead of "pulling" it on with the nut) and use some 2-component epoxy to glue the nut onto the threads? As long as the splines to locate the steering wheel are OK you'll be fine.
