don't feel bad , i just went down to dmv to get a ownership papers on a couple of old gov serplus sale trucks that are going to england . and the shipper needs tittles from a state , and our dmv want me to smog and weight them before they will do any tittles . i say to them , that i only need tittles no reg or lic needed . but they can';t do it . so now i'm lien saling them to get tittle on them to ship them . dmv sucks here , and while i was in the dmv i saw them playing around with each other because they had nothing to do . what a bunch of clowns at dmv .

Can't make appointments anymore and you will never get anyone on the phone. You have to go down there and waste hours of your life sitting in line, just for the opportunity to be face to face with a snarky know it all who you've just inconvenienced beyond all belief...

i did just that , and its was no use . the agent would not enough call her manager or the main dmv office to help her through it . its just like the school properties , a waist land !

It didn’t help to go in person to the Alma location in San Jose. (Ellis Island-but with a Taco Truck). Unless it’s Sacramento. Will never know. I know if I ignore the renewal some LEO somewhere someday will run it and a flag will come up. Then I’ll be asked if there is a weapon in the car.
Wait time on the phone was 1:28 so I’m waiting for a callback.

Send the registration back with the docs you have and scan everything along with a note.

Only thing you can do.

They chased me for a car I sold out of state and reported for 4 Years for past due registration. Nothing ever came of it.

Got a call back. 2 hours. On hold again. Claim they did not get a release of liability. I’ve sent THREE. One at time of sale and 2 subsequent when they threatened to suspend registration due to lack of Insurance. This may never get
resolved.

AAA cannot help. Knuckleheads say do it online. This is how far you get.

Got off hold at 6 PM. Says that the plate number being the same kicked it out every time. She said
send it in with the vin ONLY. So I did. 4th time. Printed and filled out the form, mailed it. We will see.

To me it seems like it's now time to make a personal trip to the Sec. of States office in SAC. and do some major *** chewing till they get this **** straight and fixed. I don't know what else to say? Except Good Luck

Can you scan or use your cell phone take a photo
& directly e-mail it to, get an address or fax#
from the person on the phone
whomever you talk to directly,
get their e-mail/DMV branch within the DMV
so they have it on hand
or old school fax "it" directly to their office,
coversheet & addressed directly to whomever you are talking to
I'm sure Ca DMV still have them,
stone age BS, incompetent/state union employees, to boot

Agent recommended I go in person to Ellis Island (DMV) and try to park and navigate around the taco truck. I did that to get the Cripple Parking Card Placard. Have a couple heart attacks and you could get one too. Got mail months later that I failed to provide ID. I handed the clerk my DL to make a copy. I mailed that form in then got a second Placard weeks later. I don’t blame the clerks. This time you really can use the word systemic.
