Hey Guys,
lookin' for a 1965 Plym Satellite, and found one!

Could some of u have a look and tell me what u think??
Seller told me '65 satellite with matching numbers, rustfree, evrythin's ok.
But, 383 V8 of 1965 have been turqoise, right? Not orange!!
Orange 383 Blocks came '66 as High performance, right??
Trying to post the pics:

Maybe the giy just liked it orange and painted it that color. I painted mine orange.

Aloha Daniel! did you buy her????

she looks very nice and clean from your pictures!

IIRC, up to and including 68, all the big blocks (HP and HP2's included) were painted turquiose... i echo Propwash and 67, maybe the previous caretaker liked to have the motor orange???

either way, it seems like the motor was taken out and painted at one point. no big deal...you can paint the motor turquiose again if you want. that would not be the most important question i would have though....

Hey Guys,

thanx for answering,......After Yesterdays Infos,I won't buy her , cuzz that German seller wanna have 20000EU it's about 30000Dollars. Thats too much....i think. Yesterday got new Info: Motor isn't original.

Maybe a little late but can help you in the future:

- the fuel lines. That's not original. Should be running close to alternator;
- Aircleaner: not original. Chromed slant 6 style versions only at 273cui engines;
- Also, aircleaner must be connected to breather;
- vacuum advance not connected: why?
- distributor cap is wrong color (blue, supposed to be brown-ish)
- steering wheel not original;
- wheels not original;

Car looks nice though...Good luck tracking a better one!

That car was on ebay last fall and bidding stalled at around $12000.

Nice car, if the price is right buy it. I don,t think they r going to get any cheaper,prices seem to be climbing somewhat.

Yes you are correct the engine should be Turguoise ,Paint #4120752.In 66 the 383 high performance were orange.Either way it is a very nice car ,i wouldnt mind haveing it in my garage

Is that car in germany? I noticed Wa.state plates,whats up with that?Nice 65 though.Not worth $30,000 in my opinion!

That car is in germany, yes...., and yeah, it's a nice '65 Bitch but too expensive, I guess!!!
