I have a 69RR without fender tag or build sheet. The sequence number is 32680 from the VIN (H9G132680). Does anyone know the build date or the vehicle order number???

Thanks in advance

Without an original document, it is impossible to know the VON. A VON is unique to a certain car and, usually, cannot be determined any other way other than by original paperwork.

Is there a schedule that allows you to find the build date? Or the build week?

I don't know if 69's are the same as 67'S, but look on the rad support on the side facing the radiator on the drivers side. It is the horizontal part of the rad support at the top of the radiator. You should be able to see a stamped number. The first three numbers like 625 (June 25) is the production date. The rest of the numbers are a random shipping order number that will not match your VIN.

69's are different. On 68 and earlier, the VON/SO is stamped on the body but not the VIN. Starting in 69, it was the VIN and not the VON/SO.
Where the number is stamped differs by plant. Some plants did stamp on the top of the raditor support and some stamped the number on the engine side. It should be in one of those two places.

Thanks. I found another RR convertible with a VIN within 100. So I believe I have narrowed it down within a day or so.

Maybe...I've seen cars with an SPD that is weeks different than cars with similar VINs.

You may be correct, but my assumption was that they ran the RR converts with similar VINs pretty close together. I have nothing more to base that on other than it would make sense. But who knows??? I believe I had read that they made around 100-150 cars per day on the south plant.
