I just finished my R/T a couple of months back and was going to get an agreed value policy for it soon. I had seen a thread posted last year about different companys people here are using but did a search and couldn't find it again. I'm interested in driving it on my day off ocaisionally as well as cruzz nights with a trip to the track now and then. Now I'm pretty sure I won't be covered at the track but not for sure. I also read that here in Texas there is no such animal as AGREED VALUE insurance. Any info you all can give about usage restrictions ect. will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ken

RT, my insurance writer is Classic Collectors, my wife's Mustang is an agreed value and they were about $5-600 less than Haggerty and $300 less than the next closest compettitor for exact same coverage...

Check out Heacock Classic Insurance. Beat Haggarty hands down on an "Agreed" value...

I just called up my main insurance (State Farm) and we did an agreed value. I've upped it twice with no request for receipts or pics of the work done.

I'm limited to 2,000 miles a year though. Have only driven the car 4,000 miles in 5 years so I'm good there.

Condon and Skelly - $284 for $50k of Agreed Value plus $49 for a roadside assistance package. I've already used the towing twice. They require a towing company with the capability of handling classic cars.. that's in SoCal which is a high theft area. Good company, excellent coverage.

I switchd all my stuff from Hagerty to NCM Insurance. They also sell track day insurance too, HPDE events.

My math works out like this - $10 per year for every thousand insured. I have 1000 mile per year policies on all cars. I am in PA also.

Whats Your annual mileage limit?

I have Classic Collectors here in Texas as well....prior to that I had Hagerty for years and every year they bump my rates...Over on dc.com forum(daytonas and super birds) the majority uses Collectors. So I gave then a shot and haven't looked back since. In 4 years my premium has not changed and of course they have a true agreed value....They are a heck of a lot cheaper too, advertising costs$$$ and my premiums do not have to pay for that nonsense...

For the mileage BS. In 4 years I have never been asked by my insurance carrier.....so with that been said who knows what was driven, lol...

Up here in Canada, it's not as easy to find old car insurance, I'm with Hagerty. Last year on a 5000 policy, 110 cdn a year, this years renewal,100 cdn. I've got no restrictions to speak of,I've got no complaints. Mind you, It'll be a different story when the dart is done

I tried to get a quote with Classic Collectors but I didn't see NJ in the drop down list, I guess they don't write in NJ?

i went with Hagerty for mine here in VT, no mileage limit and agreed value was based on pics i provided, didn't have to jump through hoops. i went through a local broker, and my policy is $186 a year on an agreed value of $8,000. No track coverage on this policy, but this car's never gonna see a track anyways. In my first year, so if the premium is gonna jump next year like someone mentioned, i may re-think, but for now i'm happy

American collectors insurance ...
Heacock & American appear to be the same. I have Heacock but write the check to American. The rates are good and have only increased slightly in three years.

My only issue with Haggerty was the agreed to value. I knew what my car was worth, and what it would cost to replace it, but they kept insisting I up the value. They would tell me "that car is easily worth four times that much!" I got the feeling they were using flattery to get me to pay a higher premium than I needed, which makes sense as collector car drivers are usually very-low risk.
