Need Some 1966 Build Sheet Help!

thanks for your input. Post #9 is part of my build sheet my column is 14V steering wheel is 13V. The work order post #19 shows a wheel an cap. The original owner did some changes when he owned the car. Gas pedal brake pedal etc. It's not hub cap or wheels. I think he ordered the car and then saw the wheel some and had the dealer install the three spoke before delivery? He made other changes GTX gas cap 150 mph speedo. Any thing you can add would be good.

Great information; it's all starting to make some sense!?! Yes, that wheel information would seem correct. It does appear that the column and steering wheel color codes comes from the TRIM box (#32-34) in row 2 which in my case is a 'Y' for gold. I cannot read those codes on my build sheet which is part of the reason for my inquiries. However, the IBM card for my car, from Chrysler Historical, shows no code for steering wheel (57_) indicating a standard wheel and, therefore, the woodgrain wheel currently on my car may have been added at some point!??? The Govier white book indicates a woodgrain wheel would be coded '573'. Clearly your build sheet is coded 13V which is probably the standard wheel with the color to match your interior code (V) also with the standard horn ring. It appears that mine should be the same with the exception of the color code (Y). It does seem logical that the part numbers on the repair order are for a steering wheel (woodgrain) and cap. No telling how or when mine was added!?! Also your column is coded 14V which must be for a console automatic but you didn't indicate whether you have manual or power steering which would be coded differently since the manual column is longer. Are you saying that you think that mine should be coded 13, for a column automatic with power steering??

I have power steering. 32-34 is P4T. I have a parts car I never looked for the Build sheet in it. To walk over to it is a problem soft ground I'm very unsteady on my feet, medical issue. Need some parts from it maybe I'll take a look but who knows when? It had a 3 spoke wheel in it so if I found the b sheet it would answer the question, maybe. The car was green and the wheels were green. I didn't get hub caps with the car. How did you get your IBM card? What info did you need to supply? This back and forth I'm learn things, hope you are too.

When you mentioned the 573 code for the 3 spoke wheel I went back to my B sheet. Well on the third row on right 3 spoke is in one of the boxes 2 boxes say 57 and the 3 , I bet would be in the box below the 57 with the 3 spoke
3 spoke.PNG
it's blank! I'm now sure the wheel was dealer installed.

The part number for my steering wheel is 4002 BT7. For Citron Gold With P4Y trim code is 4002 BY8 this if you don't have the 57 with the 3 in the box. These are 2 spoke wheels. Jeez I'd hate to find a tan wheel for my car, never happen. Time to call the original owner on the chance that they gave him the wheel and he has it if the fire didn't get it.
Up date 13V wheel is the 2 spoke. Saw a pic of jeff_383's car and asked about his B sheet if it has 13V in the steering wheel horn ring, yes. He has a two spoke in his car. Thanks Jeff.

Yeah, I guess we're both learning a thing or two. I really do appreciate all of your help and input! IBM build cards are available from Chrysler Historical for most (but not all) pre 1968 vehicles. If one is available for your car, copies can be obtained by sending a form to Chrysler Historical. Good luck!

There were 27 Satellites no trans data. Mecum has one going up for auction at Kissimmee in Jan. leBrecque Auto Craft restored a 66 Hemi Belvedere II 10 years ago. It was the mauve (that odd color kind of light purple) maybe you can get them to email you a picture. It was sold a few years ago around 150K. Maybe you can help me with my steering wheel issue? Do you have the code on your build sheet for the three spoke steering wheel? Mine is 13V is yours the same? If you look at the work order the last two items left side 4016 VTT and the next one says cap. This I think is the steering wheel and horn button? The date is 4/18/66. Final sales agreement was on 4/15/66. When he took delivery ?? I cut his name out of corner, don't what to put it out there.View attachment 376085
Hi Fran, can you tell me the assembly plant where your car was built? Mine was built in St. Louis (Plant=7) on July 1, 1966; very late build. Thanks!

All convertibles were built in St Louis, not sure if that includes A/E bodies. Build date 3/8 my car. The build date of the Belvedere II at LeBreque's was the same week as my car. It was about 500 cars later. You should ask them for pictures, maybe they'll send you some. They asked me if they could use my well boot for top because the repo's were wrong. I told them I'd ship them a well boot from my 66 convertible parts car. Three months after I sent them the boot a new one came in a box for me. So if you ever need a well boot go there.

Yes, I thought all B body convertibles were built in St. Louis. The reason I'm asking is I wondered what the Sequence Number was on your build sheet given the fact that it was a March build, sort of in the middle of the production run. The Sequence number is the very first box on the first line of the build sheet right after the 'B' and is assigned to each vehicle off the line at each plant. Hope I'm not asking for too much but this is a great help in helping to decipher mine! Thanks again!

P.S. Can you also give me more information on LeBreque's. How do I contact them?
