I am thinking about putting a 4spd behind my 64 426 wedge. Has stock crank and bellhousing. I think it requires a 10.5 inch flywheel is this correct? And also, for a 64 bb crank are the mounting bolts the same as later cranks? I dont have a flywheel yet so any help will be appreciated, dont want to end up with one I dont need. Thanks. Len

Make sure you get a flywheel that matches your bellhousing. It has to do with starter mounting. I'm sorry I don't know what you should have for a 64. I did a conversion on my Roadrunner and wish I had gone with the 10.5 clutch. Starter mounting and headers are much easier with the 10.5 vs. the 11" clutch setup.

What it would have had originally is the 11" along with a steel bellhousing. 10.5" will only work with the aluminum bellhousing

Ended up scoring a 11" flywheel for free.... problem solved
