new air compressor, what size hard lines to run?

Mice chew through copper wires
I would prefer the stiffness of hard pipe over a polyethylene
Also copper fittings go over the tube no flow restriction.
Polyethylene sounds similar to AN flex line and fittings
Been using Pex about ten years now and never saw a mouse chew on it
Most home owners don't have a clue how to run plumbing systems let alone how to renovate an existing system hence they over spend No offense intended

Code requires PEX to be supported at 32" intervals and if straight lengths are used a fine looking system can result from its use. It is one tough plastic!
