An interesting new product. They don't tell you that you will have to get something to the equivalent of a Hurst Floor Shifter to make it work. It does come in a lot of colors!

I like it,to bad I bought a buddy seat. Dont think the color would match do to so many different whites over the years.

I have been thinking about something like that since October of 2018 when I took out the factory bench seat, that was in great condition and sold it, knowing I was always going to have bucket seats from that point forward.
I like this too from their website:
I may get the big part black, with yellow highlights, or all black, or some combination.
THANKS!

So I have exchanged some emails with this company. They are sending me a swath of the yellow in the picture above and a "carbon fiber yellow".
I was SO excited about the lighted center console pictured above in yellow that I missed the caveat that it was only for automatic transmission, floor shift. It looks like the shift boot would let it work, but I am waiting to hear back.
Anyway I think something good will come from this, and I think ultimately I will wind up with a console like this one and compatible with my floor shift standard transmission. Color(s) or black to be determined.

Awesome, my friend!

I heard from their design guy.
I'm sending pictures and measurements so we can see about the "factory like" console I pictured above they call the "Mopar B body cruiser console" and what can be done for compatibility with the standard transmission shifter.
I will follow up. Thanks again to the OP!

Can’t wait to see it! Sounds like the same experience I had with the guys at Design Engineering Inc on my trunk lid liner. I’ll tell the whole story with pictures soon!

The unfinished prototype came in. I put it in place, but I have to get my car out of the garage to have some room and light to really work with it.
Also I believe that the stock bench seat shifter may be problematic, although it would be more cost effective for the console to be useable with the stock shifter vs having to find and pay $300+ for the console style shifter.

I am working on my car (hopefully starting tomorrow) mainly on the carburetors for our car club's Annual show Saturday!
I will "fool with" some console positions to see if the prototype is even close.
Pix will follow Saturday or Sunday!

I fastened two PVC pipe couplings via two each rack equipment mounting ears (one long, one short) to the front of my buddy seat to get two coffee cup size cup holders.

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...mount+ears.TRS0&_nkw=rack+mount+ears&_sacat=0

Available colors are a slightly off white (plumbing pipe) that matches my 1973 interior quite nicely, and gray (electrical pipe), if you have a black or darker interior.

The screws that secure the first bracket to the seat is hidden underneath so the cup holders can be removed leaving no visible evidence.

IIRC the pipe diameter is 3"

I already had the rack ears, so my total cost was about $6.

They actually match better in person, plus I have new seat covers since the photo.

...and I cut a slot in the top front for a coffee cup handle.

I get a LOT of comments on those, and people are almost always amazed when they figure out (or I tell them) what they are.

Any follow up on this?

Under the front lip, where the BS bolts to the bracket.

Makes getting the bracket bolts out a bit tougher.

Update
I positioned the prototype console that Blue Thunder sent me.
To be clear, the one on their website that I first saw I initially thought would work for a no console, BENCH seat shifter that, like others, have removed the BENCH seat and replaced it with bucket seats, in my case aftermarket (SCAT Procar) seats.
As a reminder, it's this one:

Well it turns out that READING the online description says this console fits an AUTOMATIC FLOOR shifter.
So they sent me an unfinished prototype to measure, modify if needed (it needed) take measurements, pix. etc.
So I took a lot of time and effort and did that, cut and trimmed and even reduced the height of the boxed in area that's covered (between the seats) and I'm sending it back to them to make a production version.
I am very excited about this, and IT IS DESIGNED TO WORK WITH THE STOCK Hurst pistol grip BENCH SEAT NO CONSOLE shifter. That means not having to source any pay HUGE money for the console shift lever with the giant C shaped bend in it.
No pix of the prototype until I have permission.
I will follow up again.

So I spoke with the Blue Thunder rep I have been working with about the prototype manual transmission console that they sent me. He said I could post a picture, but I am limited to the one I am posting here.
I am very excited about this and I welcome feedback! Keep in mind this is an unfinished product. In the finished product, the shift lever hole will be moved in the direction of the passenger side (3 o'clock) for clearance of the stock bench seat no console shift lever.
