If I didn’t go through my sports car phase already, I’d be interested. I’m happy with my bulky, heavy and roomy Hellcat.
I hope I live to be a 130 years old.True story. I had a 2008Z06. Stupid fast car. Lightest corvette ever made with 427 engine.
Was always just so so on the car itself.
One day I was at a coffee shop. Lady pulls in next to me and says "thats some mid life crisis you have going on there"
Sold it soon after. View attachment 1188683
yup L88 4sd67, 427, Tripower...
Z06...
I'll bet it will NEVER sound this good:
Eh, simple enough - there's an O2 sensor before and after the cat. It's strange and in a way "disappointing" but I find almost no new muscle cars sound good, especially with the throttle opened up. Mustangs for years, since the "Fox Body" are the worst, but I believe much of it can be blamed on the catalytic converter(s). Until the cats come out, there's no way they'll ever compare.
I have no idea what it takes to do a cat eliminate with computer controlled engine management. That would throw off some key sensor(s) I believe.
yup L88 4sd
