So the thing sat in a barn with a sand floor forever and the new tank that was in it disintegrated. I pushed my finger up thru it. So I ordered a new sniper tank from Holley, it's just a repop of the stocker, no efi capabilities. I got the filler neck hoses from somewhere, just can't recall right now. I got the sending unit and concourse fuel line and ground clip kit from Mancini. I had to order a J bolt for the tank strap but until that comes in I used what was in there before, a piece of threaded rod bent in a 90 deg sort of. Got it done this evening and I am stoked. I rebuilt the carb but it didn't work right, so I took it to a carb shop(this is Dayton, OH, we're 25 years in the past) and man, he did me up right. He was able to get all the crud out of the idle circuit passageways and the darn thing idles now! Sounds absolutely perfect. Been a ton of work but it was worth it in the end. Next is to put more fuel in it and make sure it doesn't leak with a full tank and actually drive it cautiously around the block! I'll post a video here when I get a minute.
