.650 roller , 10-1 , stage 3 heads , 426 marine block bored .010 over , gear drive , etc. but because the cars not an original max car, and with a modern sheet metal style tunnel ram, a fairly large gain in power will be had..and i have always wanted a tunnel ram..plus i now can run just about any valve cover , with the crossram i was very limited..Looks pretty radical!
Your engine must be built on the high end of cam profile specs and compression ratio, etc., right?
small plenum must be pretty good with auto trans?View attachment 675517 View attachment 675479 i might have to change my screen name to stage iv,,lol.

you too? I sold- but way to cheap the entire upper end of a max wedge in 1997, heads complete, intake, carbs, distributor, air cleaners and exhaust- for $1500.00. it was al lon my clone '62 Dart SS car. got pissed off when I went to a nostalgia race and had one time run at 9AM, 2:00 pm waiting for second run? nope, not having it ,went home took the car apart and sold the car with a 383 and the engine short block for 200. bad pistons.now I have none of it and all regrets. That surprised the hell out of me! Trivia: I actually gave away a max wedge cross ram intake and a pair of cylinder heads (had the obsolete "tulip" intake valves) about ten years ago that I purchased in the '70's and kept on the shelf almost forever.
thanks for the tip but,,i dont think so!lol...didn't u end up running that over in your driveway when u went back to a chrylser style scoop or something..
after cutting the hole in hood,,i set it all on and measured,4",i did not set motor height with the plate, that was done before i got the car,,there is a '63 plymouth called "keepin the faith" that is running this intake , dual 4's and is using the 5" tall max scoop..running mid 8's!I know the tunnel ram won't make it under my 5" scoop. Front carb is to close. I tried a stub stack with the INDY intake. Didn't like the carb opening that close to the bottom of the scoop, killed .10. My motor is slightly higher than stock though.

I know the car. Paul Habura, used to race against it way back. The motor looks pretty low in the car. With the Indy my front airhorn is level with the hood. But the 5" tall portion of my scoop is well forward of the carb.after cutting the hole in hood,,i set it all on and measured,4",i did not set motor height with the plate, that was done before i got the car,,there is a '63 plymouth called "keepin the faith" that is running this intake , dual 4's and is using the 5" tall max scoop..running mid 8's!View attachment 676508
i think this intake might put u into the 8's.......sometimes we have to get creative..right...............I know the car. Paul Habura, used to race against it way back.
