Just kidding its a 1970 Dodge Coronet 440 2 door hardtop.
I've had it since 1982. Its pretty much stock 318/904/8/25 rear.
I've restored it myself for the most part.
I went to body schools for years to learn how to weld it back together
and paint etc...
Original B5 blue PPG B/C- C/C paint job - Black vinyl top.
I've added:
1) FBO ignition system w re-curved MP distributor. ,
2) Holley 600cfm 4 barrel with the old MP aluminum intake P4529116
- Heated 4 barrell air cleaner off of a 340 Charger
3) Dual exhaust 2.25 from accurateLTD with turndowns (not tips)
4) A-Body disc brake setup (metering valve from inline tube)
5) MP Brakes 8" power brake booster/MC setup
6) .96 torsion bars
7) Hemi leaf springs
8) Sway Bar kit with superbee control arms
9) Stage 1 p/s gearbox from steer-n-gear.
10) converted the A/C to 134a (all pieces rebuilt by Classic Auto Air)
11) 225/70/R14 Firestone indy firehawk tires on 14x5.5 disc brake steel wheels
- uses the original 14" 6 slot dodge division hubcaps...
12) upgraded the alternator to qualitypower autos 100 amp - 60 amp at idle
13) MAD electrical upgrades: Amp guage bypass, headlight relays/ A/c clutch relay, blower motor (MAX) relay...
Car is a nice driver - not perfect by any stretch... (Neither is the owner!)
Plans:
1) Looking around for my next project - preferably a 73 or 74Charger SE, with
the fixed rear windows (louvers) and partial vinyl top.
2) Would like to build a 318 Stroker engine -
Since no one else seems to be building these and the kits are out there
now and very reasonably priced!
3) Planning on taking structural body work classes in the fall.
My preference is doing body work on old mopars- not nuts and bolts.
Although I do my own nuts and bolts obviouisly,
I enjoy the body work aspect much more.
I love the hobby, love the work, love the cars (Just hate the cost!)
oh well, enough about me...
