This past year my old school buddy and I have retired. We both started out with Mopars back in the day. Over the years we have moved to different cities but kept in touch. A couple of weeks ago he was in town and stopped by for a beverage and to catch up. He dragged a box from his trunk and said, I brought you a retirement present, you like antiques, guess what it is. I finally gave up and had to open it. I was floored. What is pictured below is my original toolbox from 40 years ago when I started working for an auto glass company right out of high school. That only lasted for about 6 months and I moved on, but I kept the tool box for a couple of years. I out grew it and forgot about it. Well here my buddy has been carting this thing around for 40 years waiting to give it back. Still has some of the vintage stickers on it, even some old Mopar parts in some of the drawers. I have cleaned it up and given it a prominent display spot beside my roller cabinet in the shop.
