Finally got to run my new 505 in my 68 Satellite last night . Though i wish i hadn't- we are in a heatwave at the moment . 113F at first pass .
Only got 1 pass where i didnt spin .
[email protected] .
This was at 3100DA and 120 grains of water , up around .550 plus vapour pressure .
So there seems to be more to be gotten as it cools a bit . But i think i may have to go to a 30" radial to help traction over my 28s

I'd say that's pretty DAMN good with a heavy car and the weather statistics! What gear you running? I should have my 512-B engine finished soon if I can get off my ***.

Tex,
Your 60' and 330' look pretty good (as if traction did NOT seem to be an issue).
If you ran 10.62 at 3100DA you should drop to around 10.50 at 1400-1500DA.
With only a 4.10 gear I would be careful going up to a 30" tire as that will be the same as going to a 3.90 gear. 28" tire divided by 30" tire = .9333 loss of gear ratio. 4.10 gear X .9333 = 3.826 gear (same as)
If you want more traction from your tires get a wider slick, I do not know what your rear supsension is .... S/S springs or Cal Tracs, or what ?...that could be key also.
Anyway GREAT numbers. Your Pal, Mike
Check out my signature paragraph below to compare you time slip with mine, for your reference.

Hey Mike ,
Stock spring location so a 295 radial is as wide as it goes . Yes i worry about the taller tyre , ran it on old motor just would not pull last 200' but still good for 10.93 . May simply have been track issue as no bits stuck to thre after pass smooth like it was buffed
