i finally got into the 6 sec zone last week after replacing a trans that never really felt right, like it was dragging in low gear like the emergency brake was partially on! now im making progress !
View attachment 220035its got a 470 stroker in it with edelbrock heads 600 lunati voodoo roller, harland sharp rockers, indy mod man intake,dual quad 500 cfm edelbrock carbs all msd ignition, block is a 4.380 bore 400 with offset ground 440 crank to 3.91 stroke and racetec flat top pistons for 11.1 compression ratio a dana 60 with 4.10 gears and a 727 tf trans with ptc 4200 stall 8in converter, also 2 inch dougs ceramic coated headers and now has 9x28x15 good year slicks it now weighs nearly 3900 lbs all street equipment is there full interior ,cage and 16 gal fuel cell with the big black holley electric fuel pump that flows 150 gph, all stewart warner gauges , sun tach and turbo action shifter with rev pattern vb, hope yall enjoy these pics! also all calvert suspension and shocks all the way around, 1.49 was my best 60 ft roll bar is not visible in this pic since i recently installed it with a swing out drivers side bar.
