My old bike I used to ride dirt jumps and trails with. Quit riding and gave it to my brother after I fell 50ft down a cliff on it and had to get fire and paramed to rescue me. Now he needs money for his project car so I'm fixing all the trashed stuff on it and putting new bearings in the head tube and bottom bracket along with truing up the wheels so I can sell it.

maybe/probably that's what caused all the shoulder problems, in the 1st place

How is your recovery?
You doing Okay?
PS: I quit riding motorcycles after an illegal alien with no license and insurance in a un-registered and un-insured car hit me.
I was airlifted 90 miles away in in hospital for a week!
Slow and painful recovery.
I can ride Superbikes, I took the Keith Code's "School of superbike" race class here at Willow Springs...BUT ITS ALWAYS THE OTHER GUY!
So, I gave "2-wheels" up for good...be it a bicycle OR a motorclcle....

Keep us posted!

Oh, yeah, before you put the Headers on, have them "Jet-hot" coated or a simmilar treatment...And paint the bike to match!

I had the shoulder problems before this from riding bmx so I retired from that, had surgery and was given the ok so I started riding trails and dirt jumps on this and then I had the accident and messed it up all over again so retired from this and stopped with all the extreme sports. Now I just spend all my extra time on cars.

It's not bad, been about two weeks and I'm still in a lot of pain. Pretty sure I tore some tendons judging by how slow the recovery is. I'm supposed to go in to see the family doctor so they can book me an appointment to see a surgeon, but they are really hard to get ahold of this time of the year.

I've learnt to stick with 4 wheels since all of this. I was just having a converstion a couple days ago with a couple of guys I used to ride bmx with and they commute on bikes. They were all talking about how bad drivers are with watching out for them and hitting them, even if they are in a bike lane!

Kind of figured that's the culprit...LOL.. When I was a youngster I jumped everything insight & I'm an old Crotch Rockets, MX/dirt-bikes & Quad rider... Around my riding buddies, there's a great saying around all us "getting older riders", that use to play really hard on bikes & off road stuff {even on our street bikes}... There's "old riders" & there's "bold riders", but there's no such thing as any "old bold riders", there're those that have "been down" & there're those that are "going down", no exception to the rule...LOL... There's a really good reason that those sayings, have been around for decades !!
