New Trans.

I am looking to replace my trans with a new one as I have a spare engine and want to save the originals for another day. It is a 727 auto (68 Bee) and was wondering where there is a good place to get one. Is there anone who makes one with overdrive or upgrades I should look for? Thanks

I'm guessing you wouldn't want to cut up your floor pan? Maybe a 700 R4 would fit. That is the only Chevy thing I would ever want. However, I think I saw something about TCI having an overdrive automatic, or something with 6 speeds, but you may have to alter your floor to make room.
