NFL Is Here!!! Let The Smack Commence!

Packers fan, here, but still sorry to see that it looks like Bridgewater is lost for the season. We know the feeling - we lost Jordy last year.

I just hear the bad news. I'm totally bummed. We were feeling like it was going to be a good season. If they don't trade for someone decent (horribly short supply of QBs out there) Were screwed. We are back to what we've had for decades - a decent team w/o a quarterback. What a nasty setback.

That's too bad about Bridgewater,
more good reasons to play 2's, 3's &
possible future Practice squad team members, game experience helps,
instead of starters, so much in preseason games..
Albeit he got hurt in a none contact situation in practice,
the back up/s would have had probably more playing time by now,
team wouldn't be a panic situation, to get a QB...

Tough situation for sure, hope he gets better soon too, young guy
but a torn/severed knee ligament, ain't going to be a quick recovery...
Knee procedures are far better now than a few years ago,
AD came back after a year, after his reconstruction surgery...

Part of the bad part of having/depending on a "mobile QB" in the NFL,
you franchise/leader is at a far greater risk, every time they run/scramble...
Your season is at risk far more often...

They will have a ton of waiver players to pick from,
those that got cut already that couldn't make it on other teams,
maybe they can find a diamond in the rough, they can mold into a starter...

There's always Tim Tebow, wait he's going to be a Yankee/MLB now...LOL
sorry, that was bad

Well the Vikings pulled the trigger on a QB in Sam Bradford from the Eagles. Paid a heavy price for a mediocre QB. Two picks - a first and a fourth. Unfortunate desperation move because of the Bridgewater disaster. I hope the promising team they have this year isn't compromised too much. Maybe Bradford will pull a Favre and have a career year with them. As a die hard Viking fan that's what we're all hoping. Skol!!!

Seahawks were able to squeak out a win against the Dolphins yesterday and now there are all kinds of rumors flying around about Russel Wilson's ankle injury. Not surprisingly, it was Ndamukong Suh that stepped on Wilson's ankle. Admittedly the injury didn't look intentional on Suh's part, but with his reputation it makes you wonder. Hopefully Wilson will be back and healthy against the Rams next week.

Vikings escaped with a victory against the mighty Titans. Not by virtue of their offense but it was the defense that came through. The real test will be if Sam Bradfords ready for the Packers next Sunday night. That's a huge game for the Vikes. With Rodgers throwing for 4 tds against the hapless Jaguars he's hot. Let the gods be with us. Skol!

Just a win Baby,
albeit by 1 point, a win is a win Baby
final drive went for 2 to win instead of a tie & OT,
after trailing in the 2nd & 3rd quarters,
ya' gotta' love that ballsy Jack Del Rio coaching mentality...

hero or zero, he'd have been raked over the coals if he lost,
didn't work, love his & Derek Carr's confidence & final drive...

35-34 Raiders @ Saints

Go Chiefs. I recorded the game and went out to mow. When I watched it the 30 minute extention didnt get the end. I had to ask my daughter the results.

If anyone has seen the Seahawk offense please call Pete Carrol and let him know where it is.

Vikes are showing up - albeit in a nail biting fashion - Bradford did a decent job Sunday to pull one off against the favored Packers. A great win in the respect it was against our major rivals and the first home game in our new stadium. Next week Carolina - Yikes it doesn't get any easier. No AP for about a month too. Skol!!

My beloved Raider's lost Sunday to ATL 35-28
Carr was like 28 of 34 passing

But;
even worse my Oregon Duck's lost too,
sad football weekend here...

both my teams need to work on run defense...
dang it !!

Don't give up, there's always next time. :)

NFL = Not For Liberty?.......

don't get me wrong I love the game.....but dislike the guys on their Knees

NFL= Not For Long. If I was the head coach, I'd tell players "you have the right not to stand, but there are consequences for those actions, and that would keeping the bench warm for those that will be playing".
