NFL Is Here!!! Let The Smack Commence!

Eighth division title for the 12 and 2 Pats. Most in NFL history.

Yawn, what else is new.

Just another win Baby !!
still leading the AFC west, #2 seed in the AFC playoff pitcher so far

I'll be a Denver Broncos fan tonight & tonight only,
only because they are playing the KC Chiefs

WE have clinched a spot in the playoffs no matter what,
either # 2 or #5, depends on what happens between Denver & KC
then Us @ Denver

------------------------------------------------------------

I'm a little bit bummed to say the least,
no matter what happens it was a great season
compared to recent history, we have turned the page,
next man up, no excusses, just git r' dun...

Unfortunately we lost Derek Carr to a broken/fractured Leg
min of a 3-4 week heal time, kind of doubtful he can be back
in time for the playoffs, down to McGloin {probably}
or Maybe Connor Cook, not sure at this point...

We maybe screwed, maybe our defense can pull us thru...

Sucks when you lose your Pro-Bowl QB & Starting QB to an injury,
a severe injury, not just some hangnail BS, just so close to the playoffs,
1st time in 12+ years...

Go Raiders, forever faithful

Didn't like to see that Bud. Not a raiders fan but wanted to see them compete.

As far as injuries go - welcome to hell - from a Vikings fan.

Saturday must have been broken leg day in the NFL. Derek Carr, Marcus Mariota and Tyler Lockett all had season ending leg injuries Saturday. Lockett's injury was especially gruesome as he had compound fractures of the tibia and fibula. Hopefully all can make full recoveries and be back next season.

x2 on that from a Packer fan!

Just a Loss Baby

Yep my team is decimated,
starting QB, the back-up QB & now the left tackle & guard out too
among many others walking wounded {like most teams}

Limping into the playoffs, Texans next

I still think it was a far better season than the past decade has been
I'd be surprised if they get past the wildcard game,
I'm wishing for a miracle,
Connor Cook showed some signs of leadership, moved the ball
he did know how to win in college {Michigan State},
but;
that was his first dressed game of the season IIRC
no starts at all, no plays with the 1st or second team even in practices
{he's been leading the scout squad in practice, until now}
I still have a sliver faith, but I'm a realist too, BUT;
pretty much as soon as Carr went down our season was over...

I know one player doesn't make or break a team either,
but when it's the starting QB it has a profound affect "usually"
especially on a young team that is just being built, it isn't
the new coaches full team "yet", mostly old guys from other coaching staffs...

Good start to build a winning team eventually...

Go Raiders beat the Texans

I do have more hope for next year & beyond...
