:iamwithstupid: That was a great game, but Raiders pass defense is horable, Pittsburgh moved the ball at will, Raiders need some healthy DB's... Great win over Pittsburgh, none the less...

I'll tell you why you guys won that game: Carson Palmer. If you go back to his "magic year" of 2005, he was on the fast track to become The Next Big Thing in the NFL. Then came the AFC wildcard game in 2006, which the Bengals were heavily favored to win, and Kimo von Oelhoffen gets pushed into Palmer early in the first and rolls over Palmer's knee... ripping it up bad and putting him out of the game for a year. The Bengals lost, the Steelers went on to win the Superbowl, and Palmer was never the same guy afterwards and went into a steep decline.

Palmer has a really deep-seated hatred for the Steelers, and it showed in that game. He may have played like crap before, and will likely start playing like crap again, but we knew he would bring his A game for the Steelers.

A note of caution to the NFL Ref Union: Be very, very, careful about trying to push your interests by pointing out the mistakes of the replacement refs. You guys make a ton of mistakes yourself, and getting your supporters in the media and on the field to shine the spotlight on bad calls is going to bite you in your collective asses when you come back and start making errors.

Well that's just great! Another NFL season having to sit through eight thousand Peyton Manning commercials, and on top of that BS we've got to deal with Ed Hochuli again. This season is not turning out well.

Ed loves him some Ed,doesn't he? You do notice that none of the players give him much,if any guff. Seems to be a competent ref,though. There's a few out there that need some schoolin'.

RE:the Peyton Manning commercials. Most of them are humorous,but there is Peyton overload.

Cheerleaders. Why aren't there more commercials featuring the cheerleaders? I mean,Damn! What a ready-made marketing ploy. The Raiderettes could market...I'll think of something.

Ed Hochuli is competent? Don't say that to a Chargers fan, or a Bengals fan, or a Saints fan... and those are just some of his more famous bad calls. Reality is he's no better or worse than any of the rest of them, but the rest of them are one step above incompetent. There's a reason why instant replay became a reality despite the officials, teams, players, cheerleaders, network officials, and hotdog vendors being against it, and it was because fans were tired of bad calls.

I just get frigging sick and tired of seeing Manning in just about every commercial during a game, especially the one where he's talking to his car. Yes, some are funny... until the 300th time you have to sit through them. The Aaron Rodgers discount double check commercials are much, much better. That "so you're a dancer bit" always cracks me up.

As for cheerleaders, what bugs me with them is the only time the networks really show them is during bumpers to commercials or coming back from commercials, and they're always plastering up some company's logo over the top of them. What good does it do to cut to a shot of some cheerleaders, then immediately plaster some logo on the screen so all you can see is some movement around the edges?

Poor Cleveland 0-4 now... Ravens looked pretty damn good... Raiders @ Broncos Sunday, should be a good game, always a decent rivalry... I hope Raiders get to Manning "soon & often", the Raiders DB's are lacking, too many injuries to starters, they picked up a new guy from off off waivers from the Patriots, I can't think of his 1st name but his last name is Carter, Raiders pass defense is freaken' horrible, the 1st few games now, I hope Manning is scrambling too much from 99 & 92, he's not very good on the run.... S.F. 49er's @ N.Y. Jets, could be a good game, I hope S.F. & QB Alex Smith & Coach Jim Harbaugh brings their A game, the defense looked pretty good so far... Jets & QB Mark Sanchez haven't looked all that impressive this year, from what I've seen anyway, they lost "Revis Island" for the season too... Let's hope the Lions can pull off a win over Vikings, "I think it is", I haven't seen much on the Mathew Stafford Hamstring Injury....................... Go Raiders- beat the Broncos- Go 49er's -Go Lions- Go Chiefs- beat the Chargers-, keep the AFC West close... who would have thought the that the, Falcons would be be 3-0 the Cardinals 3-0 & the Saints back to their old ways of 0-3, strange season so far...
