Gruden was/is a good coach. That was the first step down hill. Not sure what happened there but I thought it was a personlaity conflict with Al.
Supposedly Grunden wanted to be back in his hometown in Florida & was traded to the Buccs for a Draft & cash to buy out his contract, so "big Al" got what he wanted, I'm pretty sure...Chip Kelly is rumored to be jumping ship this year as the NCAA is about to come down hard on Oregon. His stock wont be any higher than it is now is the thought.
There's is some BS recriting deal, where the Ducks paid some "full service" Recruiting Company {independent recruiters, very common process} payment to some guy that worked for the company, of $25k for his services & then they found out, the guy had some kind of ties to one of the recruits, Univ. Oregon & Chip Kelly are cooperating with the NCAA, there isn't any other issue I'm aware of, or how true any of it is from either side, the NCAA doesn't discuss Rulings or Violations, until they are fully investigated & findings concluded, if anything the school will hang em'out to dry, to save their own & the A/D's asses, like a sacrificial lamb.... Would love to see the Pats and Hawks in the SB but I dont think the Pats are getting there with their defense.. the Hawks on the other hand have as good a shot as anyone right now.
