NFL Is Here!!! Let The Smack Commence!

sorry to hear that I didn't know, no disrespect meant, I was making light of the fans AFC West rivalry, may he rest in peace, he was truly a faithful fan, to do that for all them years...

No disrespect taken. It's not like he was a man god, just a crazy faithful f@cker at the games. It's all good. Very cool that the state recogonized him.

Skins are gonna win, well I have a 50/50 chance, lol!!

That's a great, positive the glass is 1/2 full mentality...LOL... then I guess my Raiders @ NY Jets have the same 50/50 shot too...LOL...

Not too surprised to see the Hawks lose a close one at SF. A couple of pretty well matched teams. The game was a lot more important to the Niners and it showed. I'm hoping this loss will keep the Seahawk players from getting overconfident going into the playoffs. We will probably see the Niners at the Clink in the playoffs. Should be good.

That 49er & Seahawks game was a good game, could have gone either way, some bad time out & clock management hurt the Seahawks, for now they are still the team to beat... 49ers needed a win, it kept them in the wild card race still...

My poor Raiders got beat by the NY Jets, surprisingly it was a decent weather game, with all the rest of the games in the east & north, all being snow games... Raiders back up QB McGloin looked ok too, I like his leadership, Tyrell Pryor was only in for a couple series... looks like we get the 7th pick so far in the draft...LOL...

- - - Updated - - -

I see the Chiefs won again, but beat a struggling team Redskins with a losing record, they haven't yet beat a team with a winning record... sorry Redskins fans not trying to pile it on, I was commenting on the Chiefs elevated or deceiving 10-3 winning record mainly...

- - - Updated - - -

My Lions lost @ Eagles too Damn, it wasn't a great football weekend here, except ol' Pops got his wish, the 49ers beat the Seahawks, it was good to see him happy at-least... The Eagles & Chip Kelly are coming on now, 5 wins in a row IIRC

- - - Updated - - -

Denver really had a tough 1st half, then came out & handled Tenn. in the 2nd half...

- - - Updated - - -

Dallas @ Chicago tonight should be a decent game, I got to go with Chicago thou, home field advantage & a snow game again maybe ??

- - - Updated - - -

Jacksonville even beat Houston now, probably will get the 1st overall draft pick too now, damn how many bad things can happen to a team in one season...

- - - Updated - - -

Cinn. beat Indy 42-28 that surprised me & even Miami who doesn't play well in the cold, beats Pitt's 34-28, who was strong are now not, until they hired O/C Haley he's a disaster for a team, it seems every team he's on, no matter the coaching position, is a loser...

- - - Updated - - -

Pat.'s squeaks one out @ home, barely beat the Browns 26-27

- - - Updated - - -

Tampa Bay wins too, no longer the worst team & gets their 3rd win over the Bill's

- - - Updated - - -

Vikings 26 @ Ravens 29, was a pretty good game from what little I saw... I watch allot of NFL REDZONE, when the Raiders or 49ers are on &/or swap back & forth to keep up on scoring...

- - - Updated - - -

Chargers handled the Giants 37-14 too & as much as I dislike Phillip Rivers, I really despise Eli Manning {mainly because of the draft crap he pulled & I don't really care for any of the Manning's}, so it was a bitter sweet win, but I hoped the Giants would beat the Chargers, the Raiders were mathematically eliminated now, not that they had any chance but now it confirmed...LOL...

The Seahawk-49er's game was an AWESOME game to watch from a football fan's point of view.....even if the Hawks did lose! It was an "old school" fight in the trenches type of game. We were doin good holding Gore until that last 50+ run at the end of the game....that one SUCKED!!!!!! LOL!

But I don't think a blip in the road is going to have any great effect on the final standings. Looks like we got a pretty fair shot for home field thru the playoffs.

Bengals did look pretty good against Indy.....they could be tough in the playoffs.

BEARSSSSSSSS!!!!

and they are retiring Da Coach's #89 tonight as well

Da Bears & Da Ditka... that's great, it's well deserved, but that 85 Bears team, was the best defenseive team IMHFO

- - - Updated - - -

Well at least Manning proved he could handle the cold....for once. We'll see how he handles the playoff pressure.....that's my biggest concern. I think that's why they lost to the Colts earlier this year, too much pressure, too psychological for him.

Da Bearsss show just how crappy the Dallas defense is. Sure they have some injuries but they look confused and poorly coached. JMHO.

yeah but unfortunately that also show how bad my lowly Raiders are too, good damn thing we have $70 million of cap freed up for next year....

yeah he's only won a couple of really big pressure games, as great of a QB he is, he's been plagued with that label for awhile now... finally won in cold weather outside stadium !!

You forgot the fact that the NFL has a new long field goal record in your highlights Bud.
Saw it in person.

ooops I forgot it was at mile high {much easier than the original, Demsey's that was at like sea-level in Detroit, not 5280ft...lol...}, so I easily forget that stuff, he is alone at the record now, Seabass-Janakowski isn't part of that record, until latter...he he ha ha

Demsey also had a wooden leg. The kick on Sunday was in 15* weather too.

I saw on the news last night that the cold weather actually makes it harder, air density is up. They say that because is was that cold it cancelled the effect of altitude. All the other 63 yarders were at 65 degrees plus. Dempsey was a hell of a kicker, no disrespect, but if he was truly that handicapped I don't think he would have been playing in the NFL. I think the block shoe was an advantage. Kind of like using a club to kick with instead of flesh and bone.

DA BEARS done put an *** Whoppin' on dem Cowgirls last night. Granted no "D" on either side but after the 1st 2 possessions were decided, Da Bears played awesomely. Long shot I know to get into the Playoffs but if we keep up and play the way we have despite the losses that have occurred by small margins, the next 3 games can be won. Don't want that "Det Riot" team in there because they play dirty...IMHFO. They only real controversy is who will be the QB? McCowen has really shown what a journeyman QB in the NFL can do with the right mix and the right schemes. Cuttler is a smart QB as well. Sometimes though I get the feeling that it all doesn't really matter to him and therefore the Franchise Tag might be elusive now because of that fact. Tennessee just might be a good place for him being his College days were played @ Vanderbilt University. That being said, McCowen is in his 30's and won't have much time left unless he can stay healthy and play like he has. Reminds me of a certain Packer QB that lasted well into his 40's. I believe he is Coaching High School Football in Mississippi....?????
