All I can say is Vikings 42 - 17 over the Giants. What a thrill to be rebuilding and make the playoffs. It's been dry for awhile. Happy for the Vikes - now we need a Bronco victory on Monday to make for a complete weekend!

Some top teams got a good healthy *** kicking this weekend. I enjoyed the Jets-Pats and the Panthers-Falcons games. Didn't enjoy the Rams-Seahawk game so much. Hawks came out flatter than a possum in the truck lane. The Hawks play at Arizona to end the regular season and that should be interesting. I might put a few $ on the Cardinals to take it all this year. They look pretty good.

Thx Mar - a win over GB would indeed be sweet! I can only hope and pray. GB seems to have the Vikes # but hopefully that number is up! Skol!!

I'm not surprised that Chip Kelly got fired by the Eagles, but I'm kind of surprised that they didn't wait until the season's over to can him. I guess that they want to get a jump on finding a new head coach. Kelly's my way or the highway approach to coaching works better in college than it does in the NFL. From what I've read, everybody associated with the team came to dislike him including the owner. People will only put up with an asshole if he produces a winner.

It's still the players have to preform, it's not all on the coaching...

Should have waited tell after the last game, it doesn't matter anyway now,
IMO the owner had already made his mind up, with help from a few disgruntled players,
but, yep !! that would be the classy thing or proper thing to do...LOL
I don't think any coach would be successful in Philly with the mentality of that ownership,
just my thoughts thou...
Maybe go to the Tenn. Titans & team up with Marcus Mari0ta again

Kelly has said it's not a big deal to have GM & personnel control, in his next coaching job
I still think he could win in the NFL with the right people, backing & necessary types of players, not typical millionaire mentality, all me NFL prema-donnas there in Philly {like the RB Demarco Murray one example, ran to the owner bitched about his playing time, carries or team involvement}, especially with people that can perform correctly with his style of system, after all remember most NFL players are just 20 some-things usually too, much like college, but the older vets in their 30's need a little more respect "maybe" ?, if it's actually warranted/earned...

IMO I think there was a power struggle with Philly ownership, always has been too,
obviously after seeing the owners recent public comments...

Seems like he's either loved or really hated...

Last regular game of the season for the Panthers, got my tickets and will be rooting for the win in Charlotte today!!! If we win I believe we get home field advantage through-out the play-offs. I can't wait to try and get play-off tickets, last time I was at a play-off game was in 1996 and we beat the Cowboys that day but lost later to the GB packers who won the Super Bowl that year. Not bad for a team who was only in it's 2nd season as an expansion team. Keep Pounding Panthers!!!!
