Tried a quick search and didnt find much on here. I never used nitrous but im thinking about running it on a dual quad setup just a light spray 75-100 shot. Im wondering what kits you guys suggest, and any other knowledge would be helpful. The carbs are edelbrock, 426 hemi forged pistons mopar performance steel crank and eagle rods. Im guessing I would have to get an MSD setup also?? Open plenum intake?? Any info would be great thanks.

NX or NOS, i prefer and sell NX.

N2o works better in open plenum designs, you're set up will need 2 plates, are you using a TR style or factory style DQ intake

Beware

Juice can be fun BUT,,,,,,,,,,,It can hurt you fast. The 1st time I tried hitting the button I broke the trans with wheels in the air at Long Island Dragway .2nd time was at e/town's MOPAR Atlantic Nat's and broke the driveshaft on the leave.3rd time put a hole in #1 cylinder and "dented" #2 like the dome was heated up and hit with a ballpeen hammer. The pistons I was using in my hemi at the time were the forged TRW pistons just like the ones in the Direct Connection parts book. They HEAVY forged pistons but the dome is very thin.
It is true that if you build your engine for nitrous use and use the right electronics that you will need a pilots licence, but when something goes wrong,it happens sooooooooooooo quickly:glasses2:
I just prefer BOOST!!:icon_wink:

I love nitrous, liquid crack. The more you use the more you want. Great stuff!!

Stock DQ intake with the spreadbore.

That wasn't a A&A trans

That wasn't a Supershaft in there. . .that would NEVER have happened. . .

Stock DQ intake with the spreadbore.

You're better off going to a single open, or aftermarket DQ with sq bore flange.

Also n2o is addictive.

Nitrous & hemi = Dave Kogan:headbang:

If your piston looks like this, don't spray it:icon_compress:

Ouch lol. Who tuned and installed the nitrous system?

The piston failure was due to cylinder pressure being greater than the piston could handle. When I find the other piston and take a pic, you'll see a dent like it was hit with a ballpeen hammer in the same spot that this piston blew through:blob1:
