I tried to rebuild my Carter pump. Got a kit from Mancini, only place I could find one. Diaphragm was the wrong diameter. Called Mancini and got the "Never had that problem before" story. Returned the rebuild kit and got a new M6903 pump.

Mancini just sell parts and have no idea what you need or want. they are just order takers.
I ordered a SFI 8 bolt flexplate and they sold me a 8 bolt stock one with 5/16 bolt holes. I gave them the exact item I wanted and it came in wrong. I'm batting 0 for 4 with Mancini.

That's funny...I got the same kit with the wrong diaphragm and was told the same thing. I drew a diagram of the original and the one they sent and emailed it to them. This was almost 2 years ago. I ended up buying a new pump as well. I guess they sell more new pumps that way...lol

I was going to order the rebuild kit as well but just got the replacement 3/8" muscle car carter pump. it was retrofitted for 3/8" fuel lines due to racing in the purestock class, so it doesn't have the correct 5/16" line to inlet of the pump.
