No Oil Pressure

The engine is pretty new with about 1100 miles. It's a 63 426 Max Wedge. Some times when you start it there is 0 oil pressure and the next time there is 70 pounds pressure. It just happens every once and a while. What can be the problem...Cleyon

are you going by the factory gauge? those are electric and not accurate and just generally garbage.. i suggest you get a mechanical gauge and install it before you fire that thing up again!

you have a mechanical gauge and its doing this?? I would check to see if the line is kinked somewhere or put a bigger line on it. if its not making any noises this isn't making any sense what kind of oil psi.do you get wen it gets it...Artie

Did you replace the Sending Unit? Try that perhaps?
