I have a 69 Charger and im new to Mopar... and I love this car, Heres the deal im Having,.... I all the sudden have no power anywhere...no headlights, no starter motor nothing!.... all fuses are good , ground is fine and pluged in.....almost seems like there no juice even getting to fuse box.... is there something on the firewall that could of gone bad? like a relay or something?

check the fusible link its ether corroded or burnt out I think on that car its the bigger red wire going to the fuse block from the battery..Artie

Start at the start. Is the battery hot? Take it up the line from there. Sometimes the bulk head connection get finicky so check it out and maybe use a little bit of die electric grease on it. Keep us posted and we'll be watching and try and help. Welcome to the wonderful world of Mopars. Your gona like it. 69 is a great year for Chargers.

no doubt on checking the battery, check your battery terminals. I had a ground terminal loosen up a bit and when I turned the key, click..then everything went dead...No luck there, definitly look at the large red wire running into your bulkhead connector and it's fusible link...

I feel your pain.. I just experienced the same problem after installing a new Pioneer stereo in my 72 Satellite today. I drove it around for about half the day blasting Van Halen and after I got home everything quit working :( I didn't realize this post was so old :( Hopefully you found the problem. Thanks for the link Manifold.

Yeah, the bulkhead connector needs attention on all old MoPars. Even if you find your immediate problem is elsewhere I advise you to remove all three connectors and scrape every terminal. You will find most are corroded. Also squeeze the crimp connectors so they have a better grip on the blade. Poor connections = high resistance = heat = melted wires and plastic.

Thanks guys you were right bulkhead connector needed a good cleaning. Also I had a bad connector on the altenator gauge :) Going back out to blast some Van Halen :D
