now no spark arg

afeter everything ive done and got to work i now have no spark. i have current running into dizzy from coil. at run position im getting 5-7 volts on the resistor and about the same at the coil. even if the car was out of timeit would still spark, so im lost...brein fried need help pls

Need more info. you said after everything you have done...? Do you have points or electronic ignition? Is the rotor actually rotating when you crank it?

Did you put the rotor back in the distributor? I only ask because I did that once and tried to push start that thing FOREVER!!!

check power in the crank phase, just cause you got it in run ,you can not rule out . had that one trip me up for about an hour and half. also check for GOOD grounds if you prove power in the crank phase.

electronic ignition sry. and yes, i need to check grounds. in fact im just going to run a 12-14ga wire from my icm to my voltage regulator to the ballast resistor to the ground on the block just to make sure they are all properly grounded (to much bondo on the firewall i think). I do have the button in (but thank you for mentioning, like you said it can be those little things so easily overlooked). I have power in run and in start. prob is i have power (1.2 volts) going to the neg. side of the coil. And im not sure here, but idk if im supposed to have power to ALL connection points on the ballast resistor. I also have 1.7 volts on the casing of the icm which i know im not supposed to have...so bad grounding on my part. I also have no, or low (can't recall at the moment) volts coming out of the coil wire that goes to the dizzy...and im pretty sure i should see a spike in volts when that baby is cranked. Going to fix the grounding issue with the wire (i hope) and then report back. but any suggestions in the meantime would be appreciated. Thx. oh and i do believe that the button is spinning, but good idea to take the cap off to make sure...
