Obx rod show anybody here going?

The wife and I headed to nags head next week for the obx rod show. We will be there all week. Just curious if anyone else is going. We will be taking Ruby. We are supposed to fish on Tuesday morning if the weather holds and it looks good so far.
We also do the jeep fest in September with Boomer.

We have been chartering the same boat,captain and mate for some years now. He knows his business and always puts us on fish like tuna or mackerel etc.
This trip it's Ruby the 66 coronet I just finished. My wife doesn't like the charger, says it's to loud. It is a little loud.
The jeep trip is with Boomer the 77 CJ-5
While we are there we set up an appointment with a realtor on the sound side to talk about moving there within a year.
Somewhere around plymouth or bath or who knows
But we have to get out of MD its turning into the east coast version of California

I left MD for Virginia. That was almost 25 years ago. It was getting bad then. I can’t imagine it now. Anywhere on the Chesapeake bay between the Potomac River and the York River is very nice and rural and inexpensive.

Thanks for that. We started looking around Gloucester recently but are considering the Shenandoah valley also

I am 15 minutes from Gloucester. I’m in Mathews County. I love it here.
