Oddball Question.. on a 1969 Daytona......

On a 69 Daytona, what's the measurement supposed to be from the top of the rear wheel well opening to the ground ?
14" Road Wheels, with Polyglas F70-14s in case you're wondering....

Is there supposed to be a factory "specification" for the distance of the sheetmetal to the ground ? The FSM specifications indicate a front suspension alignment height, but it has nothing to do with sheetmetal.

There's a factory spec for front suspension height in the alignment specs. The rear "height" may rely on the condition of the leaf springs.

Why would it be any different than a 69 Charger R/T with the same tire combo?

They couldn’t adjust the rear end leaf springs at factory/Creative. Is there any docs that say they adjusted the Daytona front torsion bars at Creative Industries or special at factory?

Maybe add the wing weight to trunk.
Then add the different between nose assembly and stock grille/bumper/headlights.

There is an extra jack in the trunk in a Daytona also....maybe that changes the height.

And the factory would have only used base model air for the tires, whereas the Daytona would have received premium high-speed air.
