Hi, following this thread with interest. I have a 318 in a 67 belvedere. Should i run with the 20w50 non synthetic year round? Any one know which chain store or other suppler carries Valv. VV851 20/50 racing oil in the NJ area? Also, is reduced oil flow to bearings a concern with this heavier weight oil?Thanks..

Not with a windage tray...:toothy10:. it keeps the oil from sloshin' around in the pan. does a 318 have a windage??? :shruggy:

is the Belvy your daily??

20/50 year round shouldn't hurt it. got mine online....bout the same price as any other "racing" oil.

could always drop a big block in it.... :eek:s_dancing2: i know 440's typically have a windage tray...

Joe Gibbs now offers a oil with zinc and my local Horse Power Sales here in Palm Beach stocks it, you may want to check the local Store in Miami. Where in Miami are you? I'm in Boynton Beach and my Father is in North Miami.
The only Mopar club I know of South of me is The Florida Mopar Connection that meets in Davie at University Dodge not far from Tower Shops. Their annual show is coming up on March 6th. Heres a link to their site.
