oil pan drain plug leak

I use the blue gasket paper thats thick about 100 thous.and cut it a little biger than needs be.....hop that helps it did for me...........Artie

I had a 5.2 oil pan that rusted-out, and seeped. Hit it with 80-grit after letting it drain for a few days. Cleaned the surface with de-greaser. Then mixed up some JB Weld, and put it on like bondo! 2 years, no issues.

if the washers plucked chicken showed dont solve the problem, then you have pan damage.we switched to those here at the shop and never had any leaks.anybody who sells dorman or mighty products can get them.can you file the mounting suface flat?

The mounting surface looks pretty rough, probably from years of oil changes and excessive torquing down.............if today's attempt doesn't fix it I will have to reach deep into my pockets and get a new oil pan.:angry1:
