Purchased a new oil pan, EBay (may have been my first mistake). The bottom of the new pan is smaller length wise, about 8” vs 10” on existing. The existing is about 4” plus depth vs 5” on the new one. The old does not stick down much lower than the k member. This one will. All indications are it is supposed to fit, and it probably does bolt up, not sure if the oil pickup would work but probably.
Pics of the existing, still on car, and the new on bench.
Where can I get one like I have now? I prefer to send this back, if possible, and replace with like kind.
Some yahoo evidently tried to jack using the oil pan while in shop for paint a couple years ago and I just now noticed. Caved in about an inch so I’m concerned it may interfere with oil pickup. Plus I’m **** even if it doesn’t and prefer this look good, spent too much on restoration otherwise.
Still putting the car together so it hasn’t been running in a few years.

Just noticed this on 440 source. Evidently my 383 has the high performance pan on the left (69 Super Bee).

I was going to suggest you look at the 440 Source site ( I see you did above) and order a matching pick-up at the same time. It's well documented on this site how to check proper positioning of the pick-up in the sump. I'll show the link for anybody else that might want to look...

Presuming we're talking a '69 x 383 Bee, the correct pan is a "402" pan
