What engine are you working on? The older Mopars are not designed for oil through push rods and neither are the rockers. Are you planning on replacing all of that and blocking off the oil ports through the heads?
i have a 440,ross flat tops, venola rods,693 cam with 1.6 indy rockers.some guys around here are making the switch,to get more oil to the cup of the rocker.and not blocking off the oil to the heads,to get oil both ways.one with a 20 psi drop, still at 60 psi, mark
to use oil thru push rods you have to have oil thru tappets. without the tappets the push rods won't oil. i belive AMC tappets are oil thru. personally i think it's more gimic than substance.
My race motor does. T&D individual shaft rockers, lifter bores, Comp offset rollers modified to restrict oil to the top. I personally wouldn't bother with push rod oil for Indy rockers as they oil fine. The rocker will fail well before you have an oiling problem when set up correctly. Your just about at the limit of their strength now. Most people restrict the oil feed at the feed hose.
