OK, it's time....

I feel the same way. I have just been under the spell of the early 70's Nascar Mopars as of late and am going for a streetable version of that look. Well, with the guts to back it up.

I had a factory Petty blue 73 Charger. I always wanted to make it a clone to the Kings 73. I like to watch the old races on youtube:D

Hey Rev, The gauge cluster looks great. Who's material did you use? White face guage inc. or did you have them painted and stenciled? Did the internals get freshened or just the faces. Thanks. Dantrap

The gauge faces are from Whitegauges.net. It's an inexpensive kit, and if you take your time and hold your tongue right, the results are worth it. They actually do other colors and they do carbon fiber also. All of my gauges worked fine before and I had my tach rebuilt years ago. Just make sure the connections are good, clean the lenses and it's a whole new look.

Hey Rev, I am going to try their kit in carbon Fiber. What type of bulbs did you use for the back lite, factory or LED replacements? Thanks, Dantrap

Doh, sorry Dan, missed this one. I used the stock bulb with the green "Domes" over it. I had bought some red LED's to put in there, But I am still on the fence on that part. I think with the red car, a red lighted dash would be cool. On the other hand, I am not sure about how well my eyes will like it at night......
