We did all you dads proud today. My cousins boy (16) has been wanting to have a big paintball game with his buddies and us dads (dads versus boys) so we finally did it today. The problem was all of the dads sold there guns except me my cousin and one other guy, when his boy told me he had 6 buddies playing and we only had three I naturally said "you only need 10 more to make it even". I was right, even on our nasty hillside where your running up and down hills nonstop we kicked their a$$'s and quick. Who says being 38, 41 and 42 means your slower than a 16 year old? On the other hand I did get shot in the pee pee "ouch".

I've only been shot in the leg with one, and that hurts and leaves bruises. Mine's hurting just thinking about that. Lucky it wasn't any lower..lol Good job spanking their arse.

Yep, just hurts more the next day. I'm 45 and played two hand touch (tackle) football last year with my son, his buddy's and my brother in-law. Had a blast but could barely get out of bed the next day!

I'm 38, it was in context to the 16 year olds that think we're old. I don't consider myself old yet although I feel like it sometimes.

Haha, they're probably planning they're revenge right now. To me what's important is that "I CAN" play with them, my dad as good as he was signed off early when it came to playing with us "I don't want that to happen" even if it means some pain and suffering.

yeah :iamwithstupid: I'm 54 & I still play with all the kids in sports, when ever I can, Softball, Basketball, Football even Soccer {that's tough}, Golf & Football, I kick their butts...LOL... I love it, I think they love it too, I'm the 1st one in, when we have a game during family functions or holidays... Even my girls get out there, we are all really competitive in sports in our family, except a few fat arse's & my elderly Pops & the 80+ y/o aunt & uncles, to frail for that kind of stuff... My Pops even plays h-o-r-s-e & Golf with the sister's children/grandkids thou... Football & especially Soccer {constant running} takes it's toll on me thou, but it's well worth the stiffness, minor aches & pains to have fun & stick it to the youngsters {mostly all in their 20's & 30's now}... I think they will respect you more for it too... I can't wait for the younger ones to be teenagers, but I don't have to live with them either...LOL... I should set up a paint ball game for a family function, I'd bet it would be fun as hell, we have a few really good shots & avid outdoors, hunting/fishing, types in the family, I bet my girls & & know my boy James would dig it...

I get grief from the wife if I mention a volleyball game at a function "it's your daughters birthday not a party" what's the diff? I hope i can at the least be as strong as i am now at 58 soon! If i make it to 58 i beat my dad and his dad, Both passed away at 57, made me think about it a lot when i turned 57 but, im workin on being here at least long enough to see our Gabby girl graduate and she turns 8 next month, i cant keep up with her! lol. Shes got me good on "being quick"

"Shot in the pee pee"...I played all the time when in my 40s...neck shots were common..but I have never seen a guy drop to the knees faster that with a shot to Mr Happy....you kinda feel for the dude...that is after you stop laughing..*g*
