Congrats on your Charger acquisition! That's an interesting paint job. The lime green faded stripes certainly make it stand out, because lord knows there's too many F8 green Chargers out there (I own one but had to change out that army green color, I hate it). I don't like F8 green but at least the lime green makes it unique.

I wanted lime green too for my '70 Charger's bee stripe but went with Porsche Jet Green Metallic for the recent body & paint job. It looks nearly black in the shade, but really pops in the sunlight.

Took delivery on the car today. Discovering all the things the inspector missed. Speedo doesnt work because cable not hooked up and the speedo is loose in the dash. No dash lights, blinkers dont work, headlight doors open but don't close. Headlights replaced with led which may be part of the problem. The list goes on. The pleasures of hotrodding, right? Oh, and I hope its an exhaust leak!

Congratulations on the 70 Charger R/T find. My parents bought a new 70 Charger R/T SE in F8 green,with a green vinyl top and green interior. The car came from the factory with a white tail stripe, but the stripe was painted on in gold when the car was repainted. Hopefully you can sort out the little issues and have a great cruiser.

The tach was optional on 70 Charger R/T cars. It was standard on 70 Challenger R/T cars though because they all came with the rallye instrument cluster which the tach was part of that cluster.

Just discovered the speedo is loose in the dash. Haven't pulled it yet but does anybody have a pic from the backside of the dash/speedo area?
