One Thing After Another

Today I broke the rear end.
That will do it for me this year.

That sucks. You must have been at Mag. I'll be there tomorrow.
Were you running a 8 3/4?
Yes, new 4.56 gears, 35 spline axles and spool.
Feels like it tore up the ring gear.

That happened to my brother. Was pretty ugly. Are you planning on sticking with the 8 3/4 or going to a dana? Due to weight of my wagon I sold off the 8 3/4 when I was building it and got a S60 from strange. I'm at 4120 and I'm sure you're probably only a couple 100lbs lighter. Look forward to seeing you at the track next yr

I'm not sure what I am going to do. I may have to give up the 4-speed.
Too hard on parts.

Oh, didn't know you had a third peddle. Yeah lots of fun but!
Maybe talk to some of the guys that run UMTR and see what they say.

Sticks are fun but.... heavy cars stick shifts and traction tend to find the weakest link in the driveline, and point it out so you can't miss it.
Fix it, and then it points out the next weakest
and then the next weakest
and then...etc.
