one wire alternator question

I'm contemplating on putting a one wire alternator on my 67 coronet with 440. I would like to know if anyone can tell me what year and vehicle I can get one from. I want to go to the local part store to get one. I don't want to screw around with shipping. Does anyone know what will fit?

Nope, mine is a tuff dawg one wire from summit racing paid $5 for shipping I think

Upgraded to Fast EZ fuel injection and noticed my voltage dropped to 11.5 when cruising,changed to a GM CS 130 single wire from a local starter -alternator shop and now running solid 14.1 volts. Also added an extra # 8 guage wire and # 10 fusible link to the starter relay -battery connection

Did you have to use different brackets?

Had to use a straighter bottom bracket as it interfered with the case and moved to the rear of the alternator bottom mount to align with the block mount. Had to modify the shims and use a washer or two to align. Hope you can see in the pictures.Could easily use an inner-outer -heim joint and sleeve for a lower adjust type mount.
